Awesome interview! Loved the David Bowie intro, too. Keep up the good work.

Loved the interview. Can’t wait for part 2. I’ve been saying for the past few years that in business when an executive continues to make mistakes - he gets FIRED. We ( the American public) are the bosses. We pay taxes. Bush should be fired for Iraq, katrina, and for his lousy performance as President. The real “axis of Evil” = Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld. My other big deal - - term limits for elected officials in the House & Senate. IF the President can only be in there for 8 years - then we need to set term limits on the others, too. Most of them are so out of touch with reality. They need to be in there because they want to do “Public Service” not think of it as a life long job. Right now it’s impossible to get any “honest” person elected & if one slips through- he’s faced with power plays all around him so nothing for the good of the people will get passed. I’m done venting. Thank you.

Interesting Eddie. The question of course remains to be answered as to whether the public can make up their mind without being beseiged by endless ads and restricted points of view. I picture a day when all ads ae banned and the canidates are given 3 debates and a one hour show by themselves the night before the election to lay out everything they have.

    Matt,
Sadly the public is basically stupid. Just listen to people in the South [ from an article in NY Times] where regarding Foleygate - they don’t blame GOP leadership in the house, only Foley himself because of his lifestyle choice.

I’m waiting for the” Oct. Surprise”. I wonder what Rove will come up with. My current guess is hacking into the voting machines in races where it’s close. The other good news I heard over the weekend is that the Republican party is about to splinter. The Evangelical Christian Right have beliefs that are far removed from the true conservatives in the party. There isn’t room in the party for “everyone” anyore. The extreme Right acts with no tolerance for other people. They misquote religion. If they truly follow the words of Jesus, then they should love their fellow man- yet they spout hatred to anyone who is different. And it’s laughable and scary.

If Rove hacked machines that wouldnt be a “Surprise”

I think its sad that the democratic party is now pinning thier hopes on a sex scandal. For the last 6 years we have seen unjust wars, voter tampering, erosion of civil liberties and a litany of other things….but the only thing that conects with the electorate is a good ol fashion sex scandal. ugh.

What’s sad is that with all of those issues it took a sex scandal to wake the American Public up!!!

    Guys,

Why are you surprised? When even the local news broadcasts start off with stories about “Brangelenia” or Paris Hilton instead of real issues- the news media is to blame. Hopefully, this Foley scandal will stay in the forefront for the next 4 weeks and the election results will come up with a democratic win.

    Not surprised, just tired.

Now what did you say about Brangelina?
