Superman Retires

Even the Man of Steel can have a papier-mâché heart. Much hype preceded the release of the movie “Superman Returns” a film many thought would bring the fabled Superhero back amongst the pinnacle of Heroes, back where he belonged. Yet even though the feature film garnished millions of dollars there are those that say it is just not enough!
Superman tired of the intrusions into his life, tired of the speculation, of all the added pressure and stress today held a press release in Metropolis where he announced his retirement. Sadly none of the major cable news channels carried it and it was ignored by even the local stations as well. Here it is for those who still believe a man could fly…

The film sucked. If Christopher Reeves wa still alive he would have killed himself after seeing it…

don’t hold back Vin, tell us how you really feel.

Honestly, killed himself over a movie? I would have thought after surviving that horrendous fall and living with his paralysis it would have taken more than a movie to push him over the edge.

I, even though I am an insane comic book fan, have not seen it yet. In fact the last last movie I saw in the theaters was “Curious George”; ah the joys of parenthood. I’m thinking of doing the “Paretal Review of Movies” or ” What’s left at Blockbuster”

    Hmmmm?
