Sooo, is there a BB or should we just post comments here?
Do you believe that birds are modern day dinosaurs?
Is Pluto a planet or just a Kuiper Belt object?
I’m thinking the posts should be right here.
Birds are modern day dinosaurs yes, Steven Speilberg said so.
Pluto is Mickey Mouse’s dog. (I thought everyone knew that?)
i think pluto is a planet. its got the size. its got the orbit. its got the satellites and distance from the solar hub. its got that certain je ne sais quoi. its like the sammy davis of solar objects. it can sing, dance, and act…a triple threat.
Sammy Davis never spun out in space in a void or else half way through “Candyman” he would have exploded in the vacuum of space. It has also been proven by the scientific community that Pluto is not so much a planet but a stalker of Neptune. Notice I avoided the obvious Uranus joke… or did I?
Not so much a stalker, but an icy-cling-along. Pluto is sooo not a planet. 4 rocky planets and 4 gassy planets. I’m pretty convinced. Otherwise, we’ll have hundreds of new “planets” hangin’ out with Pluto. And really, doesn’t that make the planet distinction a little less exclusive of a group?
I never think of “planet” as being a welcome distinction or compliment. Quasars. Supernovas. Shooting Stars. Definitely more glamorous.
What are you talking about Planets rule! Better than a stinking asteroid.
Of course Comet is a cool name… gonna name my next kid Comet.
So last night we sat at the table listening to this podcast. It is GREAT! Keep it up! Always great to hear about Howard Zinn. I keep waiting for someone to list a Monty Pyton hand on craigslist. I need one.
Ah wouldn’t it be wonderful to be able to wander the world with a giant hand to smite the wicked with?
